Anti Backlash lead screw nut for TR8x8 metric lead screws. The nut consists of 2 pieces with a preloaded spring between them to get rid of backlash during movent.

How the anti-backlash mechanism works?
 
The assembly consists of a main nut body and a secondary ring. There is a spring in-between the two which force each part against opposing flanks of the screw thread, effectively creating a bias which takes up any backlash during movement.
